What to expect…

Ancient Lessons for living today

We are a church that builds on the wisdom and beauty of the generations that came before us. Each worship gathering has moments which unite us with ancient Christian rhythms such as communion, prayer, song, reading, and teaching, but it is all done with a clear intention of helping your life today make more sense.

Biblically Grounded Teaching

Our pastors communicate with a warm, honest, and personal style. Each weekend you’ll find that the messages are Bible-based, offering practical life guidance rich in wisdom, yet easy to understand.

Joyous Worship

In worship we are given an opportunity to put down the cares and worries of life and come into  God’s presence with hearts open to him.

Inviting Children's Space

We offer a safe and fun enviroment for your children while you’re on our campus. of life and come into  God’s presence with hearts open to him.

Genuine Relationships

Today, there are lots of reasons why so many of us feel less connections even though we are always connected. God doesn’t want us to be alone together, he wants something more!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the differences between the 9 & 10:45 services?

Both services are identical, offering the same music, teaching, and liturgy. During the 10:45 we offer ASL translation (upon request)

Where do I park?

Park wherever you feel comfortable, but as you pull in, there are numerous visitor spots in the first row of parking in front of the building.

What's available for my children during the service?

Children of all ages are welcome for all or part of the worship service. We value the importance of children participating in the Sunday Morning Worship Service – and it’s okay if they wiggle! 🙂

“Kid’s Time” Elementary Message (1 – 5th grade): During the Worship Service, children in elementary school can join us for a special elementary message. During right before our time of prayer your child will be directed to leave the Worship Center with our Kids staff (look for the Kid’s Time slide on the screen), and they will return after the sermon, before Communion.

Nursery and Preschool: We offer Nursery (6 weeks – K) during all Sunday Morning Worship Services (year-round)

What should I wear?

God cares far more about what’s going on in your heart than he does about what you wear in worship. We’d encourage you to wear whatever will help you feel comfortable and able to be present in worship. (At Good News, you’ll probably find as many jackets and ties as you do t-shirts and jeans.)

Is your building wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our entire facility is wheelchair accessible. Handicapped parking is available at the front of the building and provides easy access through our Welcome Center.
